Women's Mikvah Notice for Erev Yom Kippur 5781


Dear Friends,

The Bnei Ruven women's mikvah will be open on Sunday morning, erev Yom Kippur, from 8:00am-12:00pm.  Please note/bring the following:

  • No appointment is necessary.  Suggested donation is $18 (cash or check; no one will be turned away for lack of funds).  Credit card payment may be made at Bnei Ruven.org  Click Women's Mikvah and then Pay here for past appointment 

  • All attendees will be required to fill out a form certifying that they answer "NO" to all of the following questions prior to using the mikvah (or have consulted with Rabbi Hertz for any items where the answer is "yes"):

    • Have you been diagnosed with COVID-19 or are you suspected to have the virus?

    • Has anyone in your household been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days?

    • Have you been instructed to be in quarantine?

    • Do you have any symptoms of illness including cough, body aches, runny nose, fever (>100℉ ), sore throat, shortness of breath, diarrhea, repeated shaking, chills, loss of taste or smell?

    • Is anyone in your household experiencing any of the above-listed symptoms?

  • If you have travelled in the past 14 days, please call Mrs. Chanie Hertz at 773-662-6744 to discuss.

  • Please wear a mask and bring your own towel.

  • Note that those waiting to use the mikvah will remain outside with social distancing in place.
